You can browse the directory without an account. When you want to keep track of favorites or share your experience with a photographer, create a free account.

A free Photosites account lets you save photographers to a personal list and leave verified reviews after working with someone. Saved profiles stay in your dashboard so you can compare options and come back when you are ready to reach out.

Browse and filter the directory
Start on the main browse page. From there you can:
- Search by name or location — use the search bar at the top. Type a city, region, or photographer name and pick a suggestion, or press Enter to see matching results.
- Browse by location — jump to browse by location to explore photographers in a state, province, or region. Your country is detected automatically, and you can switch countries from the browse page when needed.
- Browse by specialty — use browse by specialty to narrow results to wedding, portrait, business, and other specialties.
- Filter the full listing — scroll to the photographer grid to filter by specialty, sub-specialty, or service area and see only profiles that match.
Open any profile to view portfolio photos, pricing hints, reviews, and a direct link to the photographer's own website. You can save profiles from the listing or from an individual profile page.
For photographers
Every photographer on Photosites starts with a free profile. Paid upgrades are available, but they are never required to be listed or discovered.
What's included with a free profile
Free profiles are designed to be useful — not a placeholder. Your listing includes:
- Up to 9 portfolio photos on your public profile
- One main specialty and one service area
- Starting prices on your claimed specialty
- A backlink to your own website
- Client inquiries sent directly to you (with verified email)
- The ability to receive and reply to client reviews
- Profile analytics — views, website clicks, and inquiries

Requirements to join
Photosites is curated. Before your profile goes live, we check that you meet three requirements:
- A public website on your own domain. Your business needs a live site at a domain you control — not just a social profile or a page on someone else's platform.
- A profile picture of the photographer or owner. Listings are about the person behind the brand. We require a clear headshot or portrait of you (or the studio owner) on your profile.
- Recent activity on Instagram or Google Business Profile. We look for signs that your business is active today — a post, update, or engagement on Instagram or your Google Business Profile within the past six months.
We currently accept photographer listings from United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
