Hi, I'm Alex, the photographer behind Alex Buckland Photography. I'm an award-winning wedding photographer based in Eastbourne, covering weddings across Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and beyond. My passion is capturing genuine moments and telling the story of your wedding day through natural, emotional photographs that you'll treasure for a lifetime. Before becoming a full-time wedding photographer, I spent 23 years serving in the British Army. That experience shaped who I am today. It taught me the importance of preparation, attention to detail and staying calm under pressure, all qualities that help me deliver an exceptional experience for every couple I work with. My photography combines documentary storytelling with relaxed portraits and timeless family photographs. I don't believe your wedding day should revolve around photos. Instead, I want you to spend your day celebrating with the people you love while I quietly capture the laughter, happy tears, big moments and everything in between. I offer full day wedding photography because I believe every part of your day deserves to be remembered, from the excitement of getting ready through to the dance floor at night. Along the way, I'm here to help however I can, whether that's sharing planning advice, keeping your day running smoothly, or making sure you feel completely at ease in front of the camera. When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me spending time with my wife Catherine and our two children, out trail running, or exploring the outdoors. I genuinely love what I do, and it's a privilege to be trusted to capture one of the biggest days of your life.
