Meet Tim.
I feel pretty privileged to do what I do - I'm now entering my 20th year as a professional photographer and I love it more than ever. I think about photography and light when I'm not working. I feel like it runs through my veins. This might sound absolutely crazy knowing that I focus on business headshots and events, but there are elements, techniques, and details that one can obsess about to always refine and improve their work. In my "off-time," exercise fanatic. Mountain biking, running, hiking, trail running, HIIT, strength training, sauna, cold plunge, and most importantly, croquet. (Ask me about it) I live in Little Italy, San Diego with my wife and honestly believe it's the best place in the world! We love to travel and have a great group of friends that we share most of our life experiences with. I genuinely get excited about each shoot that I do, so I hope the chance to get to work together!

Yes, my studio partner (and wife) joined my team 6 years ago and is actively building her clientele. She can often accommodate lower thresholds on budget, and still delivers great quality!
I have 4 cameras! Big fan of contingencies on both gear and backing up of images. I shoot on 2 memory cards and keep the RAW files until final retouched images are delivered.
Yes, and this is often the feedback we receive most from clients that have had sub-par experiences in the past with other photographers. We guide you through angles, posing, and expressions - and we also take note of any preferences of an open-mouthed smile, closed mouth smile, and any preferred angle (left/right side of face).
There are a lot of awesome options in & around downtown San Diego, but it's important to consider not only weather - but time of day, distractions (people walking by watching), and intensity of light (lighter colored eyes are sensitive and will often squint even with cloud cover). We have access to a high rise in little italy with great interior options, as well as our studio. Don't do the beach!
Yes, 50% down to reserve the date and time, the remainder due the day following the shoot to account for the accurate amount of time (if it's reduced or extended).
